Dr. Steven Eberth from Western Michigan University will be sharing research and techniques to preventing falls in individuals who are experiencing cognitive changes. Dr. Eberth has years of experience working with adults and older adults in inpatient mental health, home care, and skilled nursing settings. He has worked as a rehabilitation director and as a program director for an occupational therapy assistant program. He is a certified dementia practitioner and is passionate about older adults. His research focuses on solving clinical problems regarding safety culture and improved outcomes through behavior change and communication.
