The William Carter Lowe, M.D. Education Fund

     Named in honor a a prominent local physician and former resident of Heritage Community, the William Carter Lowe, M.D. Education Fund is a new initiative at the Heritage Community of Kalamazoo Foundation with the purpose of improving, and enhancing the lives and work of Heritage Community of Kalamazoo staff through education. The fund will be used to implement a variety of educational opportunities including professional development, continuing education programs, Certified Nursing Assistant (CAN) training.  The fund awards scholarships to worthy Heritage Commmunity staff who have a desire to achieve a degree in nursing.  Tuition assistance for career related classes is also available to staff through the fund.
